I love these dishes! They are very bright and colorful. They also handled the dishwasher with the heat cycle just fine. They were well-packaged when shipped so there were no chips or broken dishes. So far, I am very satisfied with my purchase and I highly recommend them.

As an Italian, I approve!
I am an Italian living in the U.S. While these plates aren't as gorgeous as the classic Italian ceramic dishes they emulate, they are super close! I agree with another reviewer that they feel fancy and gorgeous enough that you'd be proud to use them for entertaining, but they also feel sturdier and lightly less ornate than the traditional Italian ceramic dishes I am used to (which we typically only reserve for special occasions). As such I feel good about using them every day! This is very nice, because overall I feel very happy on a daily basis eating from these dishes, and it does make every meal seem fancy and delicious! Well done Euro Ceramica! I ended up buying two sets of 4 plus some of the extras too because I loved this set so much!
